Taylor Swift announced the release date of 1989 (Taylor’s Version) on the 19th city of The Eras Tour, which started at 08:09 p.m., 8 years, 9 months, and 13 days after the original 1989 album was released.

It’s been a long time coming… As a swiftie, I’ve been clowning for the 1989 TV era for a ridiculously long time. I used to convince that 1989 will be her second re-record album, but it turns out that it’s her fourth re-record album… I’m a pure 1989 era stan. A 1989 stan before Taylor Swift announce 1989 (Taylor’s Version).

1989 is the most bejeweled era, an era represents freedom, youth, friendship, success and joy.

The album is delightful. It stores the broken heart from red era in a drawer and move to New York. Even though we still got some breakup songs in this album, the feeling was no longer sad but from a completely different aspect to show how the relationship goes. For example, Out Of The Woods, my top from 1989, portrays the anxiety of a treacherous relationship.

Besides, the era itself is marvelous. The countless promotional live performance, interview… the interaction between she and the fandom… the perfect billboard ranking performance and the Grammys… the iconic hairstyle and bejeweled outfits…

1989 is more than just an album!!!!

After I Can See You (From The Vault) (Taylor’s Version) - Official Music Video was released, people started to clowning that she would announce 1989 TV during the LA show, the first night or the last night. To be honest, I initially thought that it would be announced on the first night. I woke up at about 3 am and cannot fall asleep because I was clowning sooooo hard. I constantly refreshing my twitter homepage and try to get every information from the stadium. At about 2 minutes before the show started, I found that the camera crew was on stage, so LA N1 would be recorded for the tour movie, which also meant that the show would be a normal show without anything chaotic. I had a really complex feeling because I cannot go to The Eras Tour live so I desperately need the tour movie, but also at the same time I need the 1989 TV announcement which meant a lot to me and I had been waiting for a long time… When I saw her wearing a pink dress and singing I Can See you, I felt speechless and post a WeChat moments ‘I hate standing this woman because she breaks my heart…’ ‘I can see you clowning down the hall for me.’ I was clowning too hard… I was asking for too much. The show was a masterpiece…

In the following 5 days, I was calm and stopped clowning for a 1989 TV announcement. On August 10th, I went to see Barbie so I could focus on the film instead of clowning for the whole morning. After watching Barbie, the Speak Now era started and she wore a blue dress for the Speak Now act?! Taylor Nation retweet the picture and it is sooooo insane, my brain just glitched and couldn’t process things. But I knew, ‘Yeh. Tonight, it’s the time.’ In the following hour, she debuted a blue folklore dress and also a blue 1989 outfit as expected, the blue 1989 outfit had already shown up in my dreams for a long time. It was a little disappointed that she didn’t make a difference for the 1989 act (because people saw some blue lights in the SoFi-Staidum before the LA shows and I thought it was a rehearsal for the new 1989 act). I used to dream that she will do New Romantics as the first song of the 1989 act and say ‘There is one thing you should know about me before we begin. 1989 my version will out on xx.xx.’

After the 1989 act started, the things went chaotic. taylorswift.com started to update and Taylor Nation posted ‘I can show you incredible things’ with taylorswift.com quoted. Finally, the surprise act started and the 1989 (Taylor’s Version) cover out. Everything is so good, so well. I felt calm after it was released. This kind of feeling is really different from the Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) announcement. The Speak Now TV announcement is unexpected, chaotic and unbelievable. After the announcement I was excited and screaming the Sparks Fly lyrics. While the 1989 TV announcement is something I had expected desperately for a long time, actually 2 years, and all the clues, theory, easter eggs pointed to the specific day, August 9th, the specific show, the last show of the US leg 2023 so my feeling after the official announcement is the dust has settled, a unexpected calm and relieved.
